Most baseball training programs today are focused on strength training the baseball athlete. While strength is needed as a baseline for power, it does not fit the demands of the game of baseball for enhanced power and performance.
Research shows that the imposed demands of training must closely mimic the demands of the sport.The Sports Clinic Baseball circuit is a full body baseball-specific neuromuscular training approach to enhance baseball power. It uses powerful high velocity alternating contractions that create a quick pre-stretch to the muscles, which in turn activate the muscles stretch reflex and creates a quicker and stronger contraction.
